Enhancing Security on LoungeUp: Introducing 2FA for All Our Users 🛡️

The introduction of two-factor authentication (2FA) on LoungeUp marks a decisive turning point in our quest for security and data protection 🌐.

This simple yet powerful measure adds an extra layer of verification, making your information safer against cyber threats.

Why 2FA? 🤔

2FA prevents unauthorized access to your accounts, even if your password is compromised.

In the context of increasing cyber attacks, it is an essential shield against intrusions.

And how does it work?

Once you have entered your password, a screen will indicate that a security code has been sent to you by email, which will only be valid for a limited time (15 minutes). You will receive this code as follows:



Just copy and paste it into the dedicated field on your login screen, click "Submit" and wait a few seconds for your connection:


And that's it!

Your use of LoungeUp remains unchanged. Just remember that this additional step significantly strengthens your security.

Frequent Questions/Issues

  • I received a login email and I am not the originator of this request.
    • In this case, it is imperative to immediately change your password and contact our support to report the suspicious activity.
  • I don't have access to the mailbox?
    • If you are experiencing problems accessing your email, it is advisable to contact your mailbox administrator for a quick resolution. LoungeUp support cannot grant you access to an email box you have lost access to.
  • I am not receiving the email?
    • Make sure to check your spam folder, confirm that the email address is correct, and try resending the code. If the problem persists, our support team is at your disposal for assistance.
  • The code doesn't work?
    • 2FA codes are valid for 15 minutes. If the code does not work, check that you have correctly entered all the characters and try sending a new code if necessary.
  • How to disable this feature?
    • It is not possible to disable 2FA, as the security of your data is our top priority. We ensure that all our users benefit from maximum protection by keeping this feature active.
  • How to use other means of 2FA?
    • For now, authentication is done exclusively via email. However, we are exploring other 2FA options and will inform our users of any updates.
